Entropic measure of directional emissions in microcavity lasers

چکیده
The authors introduce new measures of directional emission in microcavity lasers by exploiting the notion Shannon entropy, and suggest that an entropic measure unidirectional is more accurate efficient than former measures.

We report the experimental realization of deformed microcavity quantum cascade lasers (QCLs) with a Limaçon-shaped chaotic resonator.
